Certification Process

Submit an application with the operating company name, company number, main website and intended alternative domains. Your submission is recorded for the IGCA team to review.

The application process begins with a clear description of the operator, the website concerned and the information submitted for review. Providing complete and consistent details helps the team identify the scope of the request and any information that may need clarification.

1. Submit an inquiry

Use the application form to provide a contact name, business email, company name, website domain and an explanation of the request. Include the company number and intended alternative domains in the message when relevant. Avoid sending passwords, API keys or unnecessary personal documents.

2. Establish the proposed scope

The main domain, operating company and any alternative addresses should be identified separately. Similar branding, ownership or redirects do not automatically extend the scope to another domain. The team may request clarification or supporting material before proceeding.

3. Review and communication

Applications are recorded for review. Receipt of an application does not mean approval, activation or permission to display an active seal. Any scope, documentation requirements, commercial arrangements and assessment expectations should be confirmed directly with the team.

4. Record publication and integration

Where a record is created and published, the operator should check that its company details, certificate reference, dates and domain associations are accurate. A remote seal may then be integrated on the domains explicitly recorded under that entry.

5. Maintain accurate information

Changes to the operator, company information, domain coverage or other recorded details should be reported promptly. The current verification page should remain the reference point for the information published about that record.
