Preparing a clear certificate inquiry

A practical checklist for contacting the registry team.

Archive period: 2026-10 · Informational archive guide. This period is an editorial classification, not its original publication date.

Define the question

Identify whether your request concerns a certificate, a registered domain or an operator detail. Include the exact website address and certificate reference when available. A concise description helps the team understand the record being discussed.

Share relevant information

Describe the discrepancy and when you noticed it. Public screenshots can help, but remove account details, identity documents and payment information. Never send passwords or private access tokens through a general inquiry.

Keep a reference

Retain your message and any response for follow-up. An inquiry does not itself change certificate status. Use the verification page to check the current record rather than relying on an earlier email.
